Sizzling Pot of rice
Now if you’re malaysian, I’m sure you would have known about the so called expose by New Straits Times. In case you have not heard it yet or better yet still living in a super small tempurung, SEX is all the rage in the media. OH..you say it’s nothing new, well sex websites being exposed in Malaysian newspapers and other media outlets (including blogs) are indeed BIG things.
So, the blogs have come up with the url of those sites, bloggers have also commented on it. I shall spare you of my comment. Well in truth there is nothing for me to comment really. For me, I hold to the maxim, to each his own. Exposing it as a write up really does not do justice because we Malaysians..hehehe…are not really ‘holier than thou’.There are a small vocal minority who would definitely would like to be or think they’re like that. And THEY are the ones who more often than not are hypocrites(though not all of them). Clamouring for ‘holiness’ but perpertrating the most heineous of crimes.
Lots of peoples online are commenting on which side of the divide they stand. There are people who say that it’s morally wrong and take a well known stance to condemn it, whilst there are others who say its a willing buyer and seller agreement. It’s not my place to debate who is right and who is wrong (after all I’m just a mere human being).
There was an interesting argument one commenter in one of the blogs I’ve read. This particular person mentioned that having such sites would prevent sick people who can’t control themselves from violating innocent people. Point taken.
