Officiall records state that Sikhs arrived in Malaya by about 1878. Even before this , Sikhs were already present In Afghanistan from times of Guru Nanak, and it is also likely Sikhs were in Burma before even China. In Burma, they were the O Puncha Singh and in China they were known as the Shanghai Sikhs!
